These monitored beds (previously stretchers) ensure that patients presenting with acute conditions, but who do not require immediate transfer, may remain in Wallaceburg while their condition is further assessed or stabilized. Observation beds are provided for patients who require further clinical evaluation and/or short term therapeutic interventions to determine the need for admissions. |
